Ed Belfour owned the Sens. To him, the puck was a beachball.It's bittersweet for me. I didn't want them to advance. But against Philly, I'm a winner either way. Scenario A- Leafs win, possibly setting up for an EPIC Eastern Conferece Final with Montreal. Chaos ensues. Martial law all over Canada. Even though the prospect of my Habs losing horrifies me, that would be exciting! Scenario B- Leafs lose, I laugh. They'll really have to sharpen up to beat the Flyers, though. They didn't outplay Ottawa, they rode an amazing goalie. It'll be tougher against a team with HEART. The Leafs have a lot of it, but they didn't play like a Cup Contender against the Hens. |

finally, the canucks are eliminated. it was possible (indeed, impossible not to) follow the game by the oohs and ahhs coming from every single window. we thought the neighbors were gonna fall through the ceiling -- they were screaming and stomping.. utter madness... i usually retaliate with afx/mbv/ae full blast |
