happy columbine 5th anniversary!

that's right folks, 5 years ago today, a bunch of super
cool kids accomplished what every angsty teenager has
dreamed of, brutally murdering everyone who made fun of
them.

also on this magical day is hitler's birthday, when jews
around the world get together and rejoice for the man who
inadvertently made them the most respected and "untouchable"
ethnic group on the planet. target assassinations and
turning-the-other-cheek toward border invasion wouldn't be
possible today if it weren't for this super special man.

oh yeah, there's something about potsmoking today too.

it wasnst "super cool" that 8 (i think) inncocent students
and one innocent teacher died because some other students
had "issues"

columbine is one of the more morally ambiguous happenings of
the last few years and i'd say placing the blame squarely on
any party involved is turning your back on the issue

columbine was just a tragedy, so it can never be a happy
anniversary. I mean more or less innocent people got
killed.
But yeah there is something about revenge. But did the kids
actually kill people they had made fun of them? I thought
they just shot random people.

one thing unsettling about columbine, is that some tried to
place the blame on video games - saying that the video game
Doom inspired them to violence. (they mention doom in some
pre-Columbine videos, one them even said "that shotgun is
right out of fucking Doom.")

funny how they lunged at that fact first for a blame, rather
than the questions of why underage kids had access to
weapons in the first place.

PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE!

GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE!

I don't know who said that but it's a fucking good thing to
say.

Regardless of whether or not they were picked on, the
"blame" for Columbine ultimately rests with two people. The
kids who did the shooting. Whilst I'm not ignoring
"contributing factors" entirely, to suggest that any other
party had anywhere near as much choice in the matter as
those who carried out the killings is quite offensive.

We could go on an on (and on and on and on and on and on,
which will most likely occur anyway) about this tragic
issue...

or we could accept the fact that hitler and those kids are
dead, and just smoke ourselves merry! Who's with me?? Yay or
Nay!

I don't think anyone actually thinks that hitler and those
kids are still alive.

you've inadvertently become completely insane.

seriously this is the best day of the whole year. it's a
shame columbine has to be on the same day as the stoner's
holiday. also is it REALLY hitler's birthday or is that
just a rumour?

actually I read 2/3 of "masters of doom" and some kid made a
doom2.wad with a level editor of their school and wrote
stuff online about how they'd like to go on a killing spree
there or whatever. I forget exactly what I read, but this
kid might have been one of the shooters. I rofget.
