emo is considered by some to be syrupy pop-punk and meek
boys singing about their broken hearts over an acoustic
guitar... others will say that stuff like Fugazi is emo...
if emo is a genre, then not all of it is bad, certainly
Eliot Smith is an interesting cat...

Results: EBM, Industrial, Lots and lots of goth wannbes
thinking clangy metal noises are cool. (mostly germans)

Yes both have energy, vibrance..

But put plaid next to metallica? no way man i hate metal,
its angry white boy shit.

weezer did not start emo nor are they

sunny day real estate did a great deal for the creation of
the genre

and girls tend to concentrate on looking good so they really
don't have much time to spend on other things

girls appreciate music as much as boys as far as I know

there are diferences between us but at the end we are pretty
much the same

and very diferent too

shit they are so strange

I get the feeling girls are going to get into it more in the
future... its getting into the mainstream almost now. Just
look, all the car adverts & arty films that have IDM-y type
soundtracks. Its not a bad thing... gets the scene of the
internet and into the real world in a way

:p
