Why do tall people seem more dignified? Something
biological?

I wish I could find the study, but for each inch taller you
are, you will make a lot more money.

Ah, here we go:
"According to professors at the universities of Florida,
Pennsylvania and North Carolina - plus researchers in
Britain and Iceland - taller people are more confident, more
admired, more looked up to (so to speak). And that
translates into earnings. The studies say every inch above
average height equals an additional $789 in annual salary."

They don't suffer from "smallmanitis", which makes the
sufferers insecure and behave in a stupid, aggressive way to
compensate for their diminutive stature. ;-)

Taller or larger people need more energy to live - they
usually live shorter than normal/small people.

this is true. their basal metabolic rate is increased due
to having more surface area overall. with me being 6 foot 4
inches, it does not help me in living to 137.
