So I was listening to I care because you do and RDJ album, damn, that's some good shit. I can't believe they were released so long ago.......i think it's time for new afx, that doesn't sound like shit (smojphace *cough), Do you people want more "advanced" stuff in the likes of autechre's path or rather more of the easy listening rdj/icbyd

either or, really... i'd like some more ambient stuff like Gwely Mernans... and some nice airy tracks like Bbydhyonchord (which definitely has an old afx vibe to it, with new-ish production sound)
.... and i suppose i wouldn't mind more fast uptempo-type stuff, but only if its somewhat different... most of the post-drukqs drill sounds exactly like drukqs drill and it's a bit of a let down...

i want to hear more of that marraige of violins and laptop jungle - i want more stuff like 4, Fingerbib, Carn Malth, Girl/Boy Song and all that. i want more stuff like Alberto Balsalm, Wax the Nip or Start as You Mean to Go On.

I Think the problem with the new stuff is it's, in a way, a step back. It's like AFX does jungle, or AFX does dancehall, or acid, when before it was about going forward into new territory. And new needn't mean academic exercises in sound like Autechre. I think the Twin could afford to revisit what made him good in the first place.

I want another I Care Because You Do, simple as that. I couldn't care less about ''artistic growth'' at this point. Nothing new. Nothing different. If he can come up with some melodies and themes as good as those, boom, he's advancing right there.

Actually i would like more Come to ep sounding songs like flim and stuff because i think that's one of his best along with the piano stuff drukqs and nanou.
Although the RDJ album is amazing, probably altogether his best work in terms flow and artistic intent.

i wish he'd just like release more of the tracks from different eras... like they could do a reissue of one of the classic albums with a second disk of remixes and unreleased material from around the time that he made it!
he could make lots of money off it, and i could hear more afx... it would work out great for both of us...

I think he's listening to too much venetian snares. He was better when he was embaresed to admit he listened to anything at all.
