Hello, I am at work and have just put a new hard drive into a server (RAID), I was wondering if it is possible to add the drive to an already existing array or do I need to make a new one. If you can add it to an existing one please tell me how. Thanks.

isn't the meaning of arrays that they are "containers" which can hold more than one string at a time? That would imply that it is possible. What type of array are you talking about?

My advice is to slot the baby in and flick the switch. The worse thing that can happen is you lose your data, which all things considered isn't really that bad. I mean take the hostages in Iraq for instance. Do you think they would give a fuck abotu loosing their data???
Just do it man and face the consequences.

I'd slot my baby in and flick your switch, but I have actually worked it out now so no worries. As for the hostages in Iraq, what if they have stuff like "How to escape from hostage situations in Iraq (README).txt" ? I think they would care about that.
