I've been listening to it almost non-stop for the past 2 weeks (with the exception of taking a bit of time out to listen to some 'confield' and 'Phoenecia') but this is seriously the motherfucking bomb. Madlib (yesterdays new quintet) and MF Doom (aka Viktor Vaughn) are the tag team champions of hip hop. The album is all old jazz and various other samples (even street fighter2 can be heard!!) while MF Doom constructs complicated, stoner friendly, verbal rythms over the tracks. On one track he even raps (through Vik Vaughn) about stomping his other alias (mf doom) because he found out his girlfriend was cheating with Doom. But then as a great twist, Vik ends up telling her that he slept with her friend and her mom! Fucking sweet! |

Im really liking this album as well. Allcaps is a nice track. They're all nice tracks :) |
