my friend is doing a rap track for his university assignement and I thought it would be a good idea to get a couple of tracks, dark hip hop style, the lyrics are real angry like (as the assignement required it) so maybe 3 minutes of simple hip hop backing music would be superb, a couple of breaks every now and again, and don't be afraid to go out of 4/4 just make and post the tracks here please, even if you think it's shit, it might sound awesome once lyrics are attached, I'll post the finished product if anyone is truly interested, it's due in a week, so haste is advised cheers matt. refund. |

Thanks wimp, but albums scare the crap out of me. I am working on an ep with my friend, but its mostly us just having some laughs. I just step programmed the strings using some edirol vst's. |

Well the EP Im working on with my friend is really sorta silly but spacious. He plays guitar and does vocs, and Im on the laptop and tables. We did one song called "The Festival of Carrots" and its his stoned vocals being pitch-shifted over a beat thats made up of a sample of him eating a carrot. We have some hour long jam sessions we recorded that are pretty ridulous. Both of us spraying rhymes about buying meat for cocktail parties and shit. I could rip it off the minidisc and post an mp3 from one of them. The audio is shit though |

I've used this track, and we've recorded the lyrics over it, and it's as good as it could possibly within the constraints of the horrible australian accent, which is to say, it's pretty average. keep em coming in, if he finds another good song he might go with it... |
