(MC) nacmat / Key_Secret LIVE (at Key's place)

This was the sample-stuff I was talking about
in the give me a sample to scratch-topic.

Didn't turn out very good... controlling effects
in realtime without knobs n stuff (or midicontrollers)
is quite difficult (I had to do everything with my mouse,
so I could only change one effect / time).

Anyway, check it out:

DJ_Nacho_and_Key_Secret.mp3

It's all done and recorded live, except :
the fades indicate that something was removed from the track
(it was much longer to begin with).

it's just fun and games. nothing serious.

eh nevermind the filename... I shall change it...
cause nacmat only MCs on this track... there is no DJing
being done. I just thought it was a funny title.

great!
but be aware, it's not very friendly music.
It's hardcore/noise... not very danceable.
Nacmat's voice is in there though.
This is not a track that I perform live.
I just improvised this through Buzz (by first
creating a couple of patterns that could be used).

yeah I don't even like vsnares...
I guess it's more fun to do this (live) than to listen to
it.
I did it cause I wanted to improvise something.

yeah. it's just fun and games.

The only samples used are:
* Basedrum
* Drumloop
and * nacmat (and whatever music he played in the
background)

nothing else is used.
I really need to get me some midicontrollers.

yeah one can do really neat stuff if one has midicontrollers
and better 'raw material'. the samples I used weren't that
good + I hadn't prepared really.
anyway.
thanks for listening!

yeah it was fun. Doing some improvising for exchange (and
not caring at all about producing)... It was like the
opposite.

As I've said earlier this was done with very little
preparing, using three samples (one kick, one drumloop +
nacmat).
There are no synths or whatever.
And although it may sound random, I didn't create this
randomly. All effects were controlled with the mouse, and
thus I couldn't control them perfectly (when e.g. moving
sliders fast back/forth), and only control one effect /
sound at a time.
What sounds like noises or tones is a (very small part of)
the drumloop/basedrum being played... There are no tones
pushed in this, just samples being played / not played,
processed/not processed through effects.

thanks everybody for listening!
and if you haven't heard my music before, don't let this
scare you, this was just me having fun. So please also
listen when I do post something more serious.

also the nacmat sample is played with a lot of resonance at
one point... but that's it.
Next time I do something like this, I hope I have some
midicontrollers (If only, my gamepad). Also I'll master the
sound more before (prepare the outcoming sound).
But improvising is fun and inspireing. It's not about the
final result, but about the interaction, I feel.
