At the 15th annual international blues and roots festival
in Byron bay, australia. what a rush the guy can still move
apearing on stage after a prolonged build up by another old
black guy in a white suit the ten piece band all clad in red
suits. i was operating a camera right in front streaming for
the big screen. Brown kinda looks like a cross between a
fruitbat and a cat and was sweating heaps. i can't really
remember the excat set not being a huge brown fan and
concentrating on the camera but it was bouncey! Particulary
an extended version of sex machine. Last night we filmed The
Black Keys from Ohio, guitarist and drums they rocked!
Doctor Jon was smooth a beautiful human skull on the piano
on stage.

a friend of mine saw him when he came here. she has yet to
give me a detailed description of the night .. but the
'cat/fruitbat' thing fits the photos :D

I saw a film which had James Brown in it, the other day --
for the life of me, I can't remember what it was! Oh! Oh! It
was Tuxedo, featuring Jackie Chan ... not the best film in
the world, I assure you!

I saw JAmes Brown live the other night. He was playing
Violin. Looked like a 10 year old white boy though. Strange

I saw him at the st james in auckland, I was tripping, and
the whole thing was just weird, at some point I got on a
tangent about his teeth, they seemed freakishly white and
