It seems like every time the board is down for a 4 day
period, I come back to find no enhancements/changes to the
layout or functionality at all.. Granted the down time was
probably technical server issues... but it gets my damn
hopes up everytime...

seriously though, are there really changes in the
works, or are we just having a cranks royally yanked by phob
and the crew?

they're probably passing around brews right now, laughin it
up at us poor fools dreaming and hoping for something
breathe new life into the board!!

I am so lost as to what the hell you're on about I fear I
may have lost any grip I previously had on reality.

even as a joke it isn't funny. Phob spents lots of free
time + personal earnings on this place.. if you want to make
it better, offer to help.

I want to compress a CD into my fist. Is this possible?

right... and what would I do? cheer them on?

I have offered to help, by becoming a premium member.
I don't have the expertise to really help change anything on
a complex website like this, but still contributing funds is
more than you have done.

and also thank you for noting my disclaimer that I WAS
MESSING AROUND.

goddamn sometimes this board is a fucking drag.

I want to devise a device that can convert notsoil to soil
and vice versa...

kind of similar to alchemy I guess... except its not gold I
want to make, but notsoil.

note that I said 'even as a joke', so I obviously did see
your messing around statement (and tone).

Also I didn't bitch, so there's no reason in getting in a
whose-support-is-bigger fight.

is the distinction relevant? In both cases they eventually
end up deep in your asshole.

well then, with some work, your fist could compress it into
your fist. I also recommend a fully lossy compression
algorithm which deletes the compression target. I don't
think this is so bad since, in the end, nothing is really
that important.

the newer feature of not having to click on the words in a
topic appears to be gone.

so you can click anywhere within the box of a topic and it
will go into the thread?

No. The correct way to do it is to set the appropriate
onClick action for the table cell, however not many browsers
support enabling of arbitrary events on all targets..

ah yes ok i get it now. well, inbetween some of the site's
downtimes it had been arranged to work on most or all
browsers. it worked on mine (IE 6.?) and now it doesn't.
