it seems like they have changed their style, this record is much more instrumental than their previous releases, at some points you can hear their basic electro sound, but most of the time songs are very instrumental and even 4 songs with vocals! the song sex beats reminds me of punk heard it for the second time today and don't know if I like it or not.. what happend with Andrew Weatherall & Keith Tenniswood? anyone else heard it and (dis)like it? |

it's strange...def. not 2ls in any known term. my theory is that andrew is depressed, he sings, he's older, and he wants the punk back again....warp signed !!! in the meantime, so they said ok, go head 2ls, make some guitar album... but how keith tenniswood can stand this thing, his albums are so nasty and electric-driven....maybe he just must listen to the andrew-the-boss..... those electro songs are ok, but those guitar, rocky...well if you listen to them without prior knowledge that tjey're but 2ls, you'll probably think of some wannabes... sorry for any mispelling or grammar i'm in bed, off to sleep.... hope to hear new v.delay.....nd i really remember how i was blown away with tiny reminders....and that fascination lasted...long.... |

I still can't believe that they record it under their Two Lone Swordmen alias only Faux comes close to their real sound, all the other songs are very different in style maybe this is the reason why they called themselves Two Lone Swordsmen... |
