and I DID find my happy!

good track!

I can't wait to hear the finished version. try to exchange
the drums somewhere (keep the ones you got, but use other
ones for another part of the song...)!

I was thinking of bringing in some 808, maybe put a pit of
delay on them.

Thank you for your comments :) they are much appreciated

Good start Murray, I really like the bass tone in this.
Plus the live sounding drums are cool though they might need
more compression.

Looking forward to hearing the finished piece.

I wandered through your site and ended up in a section that
said u used to be in Mcfly. Is that the same group that is
at no1 at the moment?

LOL no way man

McFly was then nickname given to me by my fellow band mates
when i was in a band (never got famous and never played a
gig, ever)

Do the drums really sound live? Excellent, i will have to go
about compression at some point. hank you for your comments
KADO, how's chelmsford keeping you?

Yeah all good, 2 weeks off college means plenty of time to
get some beats down. Ive got a couple of gigs in chelmsford
this weekend so im preparing for those at the moment.

What course are you doing at southend? Im on the access to
media / music technology.

A levels: Film Studies, Media Studies and English
Literature

I wouldn't mind doing media technology, perhaps evolve a tad
would be nice :) You got MSN or any stuff like that KADO?

Drums sound more live than most IDM tune cos of the reverb
and lack of effects, but I wouldn't say they sound live. Too
consistent to be live.

Apparently there's a plug in that shifts your drum hits a
little here and there to make it sound as if it's a human
playing it. Also, it adds more dynamics.

Not a bad tune. Needs something to hold it together. Just a
bit boring at the moment.
