I was surprised to see one of the last guys listing Lynch's
"Dune". which is pretty dire.

that is our famous philosopher...he's the one i've been
talking about a while ago - he was picked for the world
greatest philospher for 2000 or 2001. he should improve his
taste in movies a bit tho!

wow that is pathetic... i would love to have a look at the
giger designs that he made for the original film, but that's
totally irrelevant to the subject of this thread. sorry for
that.

if you like the Indiana Jones movies, you'll like Star
Wars.

essentially they're oldfashioned adventure romps with a
slight sci-fi sauce splattered over them.

1> Ghost Dog - Jim Jarmush
2> Shichini no Samurai - Akira Kurosawa
3> Thin Red Line - (cant remember director )

thats the holy 3

Dune is Lynch's most underrated film, whilst i'm not sure it
would be in my top ten, it would definately be somewhere in
my top 50.

it certainly would not be in mine, in the current mainstream
version.

if ever Lynch has the chance to do a complete director's
cut, it would improve incredibly.

I want to squeeze and kiss your avatar.
