i've never had many hallucinations, though if you define hallucination as a sensory experience that one cannot identify as a hallucination, i've never had a hallucination. i prefer the term entheogen, apply whatever prejudices you will. anything i experienced as a result of consuming certain substances was only a glimpse; these experiences forced me to abandon atheism, if i was to remain honest with myself. subsequent investigations have borne out the fact that the world we think we know is only a thin veneer covering a world that is far more vast and far more subtle. i know there is no way i can persuade anyone, and i have no intention of persuading anyone to accept my viewpoint. but never let it be said that there were no individuals willing to face your ridicule to acknowledge publicly this important fact. we share the same source, and have always been and always will be brothers. even while you laughed in my face, i would remind you of what you had forgotten. to me this is the good that can come from a "shroom" thread, despite the reports of ignorant, irresponsible self-indulgence, and the ridicule from those who think they know better. |

when i was at a mentally stable state doing harsh psychoactives, i was listening to some Steve Roach and i hallucinated jungle tribesman with spinal cords as flexible as snakes. they blew smoke out of their mouths while looking at me dead in the eye. then my whole room became a humid dark jungle with little light rays coming through the thick canopy. my lights were off and my eyes were open. was this a open or closed eye hallucination? the room was pitch black |

once on acid i was lying in my bed, staring at a poster on the wall and it started turning into a giant mantis. that was a bit scary. on the same trip, i was talking to my friend dave and i looked away for a bit then when i looked back at him his face was all weird shapes and colours (ie: his face was a very vivid red upside down triangle thing and his mouth was a yellow triangle, and i think his eyes were just turquoise circle). it looked excatly like someone cut out shapes in different colours of construction paper and arranged it into a face. it was probably the scaries thign ive ever seen. ive seen a fair bit of werid shit on mushrooms too. the last time i did them, about 2 weeks ago, i was at my friend's place watching a jimi hendrix dvd and the entertainment system thingar that the tv was in looked like heavens gates or something, with all this golden light pouring off it. the room is mostly white and it was daytime so it was mad bright in there. it looked like there was lines of light connecting all over the floor and ceiling and zooming past at blinding rate. ahh, there's too many mushroom stories. damn that mush. ;) |
