New Downtempo/Melodic/Glitchy Track

yeah, so for class we had to sample a bunch of things, make
several types of patches on our samples, and write a song.
So this is what I came up with. Its recordings from a
minidisk, of me banging on things around the house,
processed in Reaktor. Also a flute my roommate has, and my
bass, and some wacky sounds I made in csound, and edited in
peak.
This is the track as Im handing it in, 100% samples, but I
want to continue it (and develop it more) and add synths
etc.
so yeah, enjoy.

I likes it a lot actually...the only problem is that Reaktor
is a bit basic for me. See I only use MaxMSP now for my
music production so I am sadly forced to look down on you.

Nah really nice work.

it is really nice, like all of your tracks. actually this
might be my favorite track i have heard from you. (i
probably said that last time i listened to a track by you
too.) the percussion (?) noises are great and the melody is
good, especially with that echo on there. i can't really
think of anything that is bad about it. :D

I can't believe I'm listening to a recording of Matthew
Usnick from Boston, US, banging things around the house.

accordingly!

As always: great! if you plan on working more on it, some of
those voice "aaaaaa" which sound cut-up (I think aphex has
used this somewhere a few times, but I can't remember where)
could fit in nicely.

Very very nice man, reminds me of Kcinsu stuff had it been
remixed by BoC and Global Goon.

I wouldn't describe it as downtempo though. Downtempo
reminds me of boring crap like Zero 7 and Groove Armada.

Its good. I don't think I'd ever be able to do this sort of
glitchy style because its too complex for me overall. Not
sure the notes entirely hit or do it for me but maybe I'm
knit picking. Like someone else said kinda BOCish. Not quite
BOC though but fresh compared to a lot of others.

very awesome Zeus

a change of "percussion" would have been nice, BUT its not
necessary because that isn't what you intended.

A sexy song of sexual side effects.

Hot shit the melody is beautiful. It sounds like someone
trying hard to breathe and almost failing. Might need a wee
bit of progression in the track, build the layers towards
the end, but really, that synth gives me a funny feeling.
Cool.

thanks guys, Im glad you like it!

Yeah, I definately want to develop it some. The assignment
was we had to make a song with all samples... so no synths,
and I definately want to play my kstation over it, and maybe
even do the bass live.
