basically Music for Airports and SOME of SAWII are the only
things I can sleep to... even Brian Eno's On Land album is
too much...

I've lost the ability to sleep listening to music. I need
silence. Odd, because i used to be able to fall asleep
listening to almost anything.

i rather not sleep to music i would think of the music to
much that i couldent sleep

doesent you get tired of the music if you always listen to
the same sleep music

Man, I've never been able to fall asleep with music playing,
so I got nuthin' to list. Shucks. I can doze off with the TV
on.

I can't read and listen to music at the same time either. My
typo rate increases 400% when I'm listening to music. Music
is a bully.

No, surprisingly. It sort of depends on what state of sleep
you're in.

i like organic music to sleep to for some reason...some easy
listening stuff...pj harvey, some old jamaican dub,
air...stuff like that.

i can listen to anything when i fall asleep. i usually put
on the album i like the most at that time. i don't really
fall asleep to it because i usually turn off the cd player
when the cd is done.

A year or two ago I used to put on Signals by Brian Eno on
repeat x10 before going to bed. Its probably the most
textural soundscape I've ever heard... shit its like 30
years old and it sounds like its from another galaxy

right away that those titles could be bad ass. I am in the

I put one of the disintegration loops into my 'Sleeping'
playlist the other night, it completely freaked out my
girlfriend who thought it was eerie. So I told her the 9/11
story that goes with it, she got up and switched it off then
left the lights on for the next half hour... what a wimp
eh!

other sleepy stuff
Arrovane - Lilies
Fennesz - Venice
Air - Talkie Walkie
Edward Scissorhands - OST
BOC - Music Has The Right...
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind - OST

I find that I have loads of dreams when I have music playing
at night as it constantly brings you in and out of
consciousness.....maybe not too good for feeling well rested
the next day tho.

I don't like sleeping to music. I tried several times but it
takes my attention and falling asleep becomes obstructed.
After some time i fall asleep anyway and then nothing
bothers me except some kind of changes in music which wake
me up. sometimes it's a pause in music, or end of track, or
track change.

Tried to sleep to SAW, but it wakes me up. Tried to sleep to
venetian snares - it was almost ok. Bad Sector - ok, and
ambient musics like Alphonse de Montfroyd -
Synchronocity/Seriality are also ok.

To sleep to music i need to not give a fuck about it, or
there will be a feeling that i'm missing something which
doesn't let me fall asleep.
