what videogames are you guys playing or wanting to get? i've
been playing Gran Turismo 3 of course and i beat Metal Gear
Solid 2: Sons of Liberty not too long ago. tomorrow, i plan
on using me mum's credit card to buy a videogame for my
birthday. i think i'll get Splashdown. other games that have
my interest:

Burnout (arcade car racing game with realistic crashes. i
love racing, real or videogame)

Tony Hawk Pro Skater (never been a fan even though i
skateboard. i played it with my friend and i'm impressed by
it. hopefully i'll get this game for christmas seeing that i
skate, therefore it would be an obvious videogame choice)

Grand Theft Auto 3 (bloody and violent as hell. that's why i
want it)

Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore (because fucking Xbox stole Dead
or Alive 3. tag team action kicks ass too)

I quit playing games, but I think I might get Metal Gear
Solid 2 for Xmas and might get back to being a game geek...

Max Payne is looking good and violent too. i need a good
first person shooter also, but i want to play against other
people. i don't remember how long it's going to be for Sony
to get up their broadband or whatever internet connection
service thingy is. a good Team Fortress for the PS2 would
kick ass. i've heard only good things of that Half Life
add-on.

Grand Theft Auto 3 - gotta be done! Extreme G Racing, James
Bond Agent Under Fire and SSX Tricky!! Merry Christmas to
all!

yeah, i need a good james bond game. i completely forgot
about ssx tricky! i have ssx and it kicks ass, so i'm sure
ssx tricky must completely blow it away.

SSX Tricky looks much, much better than the original. (I
have SSX too!!) I've only had a sneak preview of it - its a
Xmas gift, gotta wait till Tuesday!!! Extreme G Racing has
got to be the fastest racer on the PS2 - if you liked F-ZERO
or F-ZERO X then this is the game for you!!

I don't buy games for my PC its a complete waste of time!
The amount of time and money that I have chucked at my PC
over the years to keep it up to date to run the latest PC
games is a F****** joke! That's why I have had various
consoles over the last 3 or 4 years. They're designed to do
the job (and do it damn good speaking of the PS2) and you
know that when you buy a game, its gonna run like the
software developers want it to! Not like with the PC where
you need to have some many Megabytes of Ram or crap!! I work
with PCs all day long providing hardware/software support
and I'd never buy another PC game ever! My PC is of a
relatively high spec nowadays and I use it for Internet and
Microsoft Officey type stuff, and before anyone says, I'm
not knocking how good PC games are - I know they're good,
but does anyone else feel like this??

hell no

ps2 was a let down

computers can do all that shit and more. People are just
lazy cunts and want a game to work asap, screw options and
resolutions and video settings, just pop in the cd and turn
your brain off.

Jedi Chris from North Pole on 2001-12-21 22:46 [#00063297]

I don't need the shit of fine tuning a pc to a second rate
piece of shit pc software! I agree with what you say though
Job about just putting the cd in and away you go - I just
want to play the games! After all thats why I bought it in
the first place! I don't buy software for the 'challenge' of
whether or not I can get it to work - lifes too short! And
when the next best console comes out, I'll get that and
carry on playing my games they way they should!
