I have a power mac G5 running OSX 10.3 and for some reason it isn't recognizing my external soundcard, anyone have any ideas? |

What If i have is an ozone midi controler installed the cd with all the latest drivers, it's recognizing it, just not as an external soundcard in the sound options for os x |

i think there's new drivers for that try installing those for latest drivers but goto Apple Menu > System Preferences > Sound > Sound Ouput you should be able to select which sound device you use, either Built In or your external one this should work |

yeah whre it says you can select your sound out it has the midi controller there when i click on it it gives me the message "the selected device has no output controls" |

what version of OS X are you running? the update at the link i posted mentions about improved support for OS 10.3 hopefully if you install the new drivers, that might fix it other than that, i don't know why it shouldn't be working?? its USB interface right? Are you running anything like USB Overdrive? I know that app sometimes causes problems with USB devices |

phone mac tech support, if youve got a G5 im sure you can afford a bit of better advice than from a bunch of aphex freaks. |

It's conencted through USB, im running OS X 10.3 I dont know why this is working!!!! I've been on hold with tech support for like an hr now.....oh well.... I'm going back to where I bought it and see if they can help |

have you tried the update?? if you're using the drivers supplied with the disc, i'd guess they're not compatible with Panther |

damn well are you sure you're not running any third party USB apps? like i said, USB overdrive has a habit of fucking with stuff, especially audio stuff hope you can get it all sorted soon |

Figured it out! and it works great. I saw those in the store that's pretty cool. Yeah after buying this G5 I have no money what so ever. |
