Ae - no messing, no hype, no self referencing, no bullshit,
no contest - straight to the musical point.

Pusher? Lovely guy and all but a bit all over the shop.
Makes a kind of sense alright but ... i dunno, just let the
music speak foritself ans thats what his interview imply yet
he still does interviews...... doh!

tom = captain wankywank.

i bought ultravisitor last night and actually took it out i
was so grossed out by it. you could practically smell the
semen oozing out of my stereo. it made me feel dirty.

i love his music and Ae's wouldn't compare Ae and SP
musically, just talkin about their interaction with the
press

AE HATES to do the press thing, from the bit that I've
read.... they'd rather just make music...... that's my whole
thing, as well.... hate the PR aspect..... but man..... I
can't stop making beats

well. sorry. i guess what i meant was that tom is just a
super wankery self-important person all around. in his
interviews as well as his music. that's what i think i meant
by that...

don't get me wrong, i quite enjoy most of his stuff...but
this last album made me wanna puke. that's all.

All electronic artists are pretty funny in interviews, they
all seem, dare I say, shy! I laughed when I read this Aphex
interview click here, you can't read it without
thinking, 'he is such a legend'.

it wasn't "Buzz Caner", or better yet, "Hard Normal Daddy"
but I dug it.... better than most everything else, at the
moment

well i love all toms music, i thinks he's a cool enough
fucker too, i like his stage show, i didn't mind his "Alive
in Japan" CD at all - loved it actually ..but

... he talks a load ofshit compared to Ae.

Ok RDJ talks shit but at least he's having a laugh.

You could see it as Tom taking the piss out of "The
Wire" type interviews/articles that over-intellecutalise a
bit.

yeh.. the warp stufff is like that but his audio interviews
are not pisstakes are they? just ramblings and Tom "fighting
mediocrety"..... i can understand him not wanting to
categorize/label/ his tunes but he must have a some sort of
feelings for them. Instead he goes on about how interviews
are weird.... stopit!

They were hilarious, especially the top 10 records (which
was very Wire) and the interview. The article was
pretty funny especially when Mary Anne Hobbes was like "oh
oh you need to read these three intellectual and deeply
fascinating articles" every 20 seconds. Good one.
