Does anyone here have their own server? One which is up all the time? And.. lots of mp3s? If so, would anyone consider setting up a web radio with lots of cool music? All you have to do is save a list of your music in a m3u-file, and link to it... |

i have a question, my campus connection is super fast, but when i try to dload vibes i get a shit rate, do you think this has something to do with the way the school hands extensions or just a weak connection? |

i have my own server running 24/7. upload is only 64k/sec though so not much chop for big downloads. i successfully run a few sites from it though. |

but when you link to the m3u, the files will stream. that's the beauty of it.. you don't need top bandwith... you should probably test it first, though... try putting out a few mp3s and put their names in a file called test.m3u or something.. link to it and see if there are any problems.. |
