i'm not really sure what you call it...its like when you
have something that sounds like a shitty atari video game
sound that morphs upto a high quality sound...i heard it on
go plastic, can't remember the track....either way. anyone
have a clue what i'm talking about? And tips on how to
achieve it in real time?

you can program it somehow. Get a nice high quality sound,
then keep filtering it until it sounds shitty 8-bit style.
Then record yourself slowly turning off the FX and you'll
have an 8-bit sound turn into a lush one.
