It was decent!! Really magickal. I'm not a HUGE Kraftwerk fan; but this really swept me away; mostly due to the Japanese, they were such a great audiance. Kraftwerk's set consisted of a huge monitor behind them, and the members of the act standing behind these monolithik laptop/keyboard configurations, dressed in red and black business suits. After a few songs here and there the curtians would close only to re-open to unveil new costumes for the act. Everything from the suits, to blinking ties, to replacing the band w/ robots, to those VR suits. There were these decent jokes on the monitor for the japanese, and some text/pics that really added some extra depth to the tracks as well. Also, i never knew how litteraly gay that pocket caculator track was (which they sang in japanese, btw...) I have a couple of pics, but they are a bit blurry. I'll scavange the net to try and find some better ones. |

the introduction to radioactivity has the phattest vocoder voice in existence. the new version is great. it was the highlight for me, and ofcourse the robots! =) |
