is anyone into it?

anyone go to shows?

anyone recommend me some goodies????

In kansas city, we have, my buddies and fucking rockers, The
Casket Lottery, The Tralese, National Fire Theory, John
Nash, and the Black Presidents.

The Casket Lottery can be found on Kazaa and such, they are
pretty successful. But seriously, check em out!

So recommend me some more.

in general, indy is usually better.. they can't let the
bullshit of their music-playing becoming a successful career
get to their head(s).

hehe... I always thought it was indie rock? indy rock sounds
like what Indiana Jones would jam to :D

But yeah, I like some indie rock.. Braid/Hey mercedes are
good, as are Sunny Day Real Estate (the BEST indie, imo).

yeah idie, indy, whatever.

sunny day definately rocks.

indie rock is pretty much the new term for 'emo'

a lot of those folks hate the term emo, a lot like
electronic folks hate the term idm. same phenomenon.

idie rock is not my style at all! i dont enjoy it
whatsoever.

but! I really do like the attitudes these guys have, and I
respect them as musicians for the most part. I really hate
that stuff like the strokes and the white stripes, bunch of
corporate whores if you ask me.

one group i really like is "the books." although i believe
they classify themselves as indie rock, they have a definate
electronic feel. i think that's the only reason i like
them. you should check them out.

In general, no I'm not really "into" it, but I do like a few
indie bands. Foremost among them would probably be
Lightning Bolt.

I like Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Microphones, and old
Onelinedrawing (back when it was referred to as Jonah's
Onelinedrawing). Does Cornelius count as indie rock?
