I think an artist like pusher who releases at a fast rate
can get that often cause you get to hear the evolution in
full unlike other artists who releases at for example a two
 or three year rate.
 Did that make sense?

 | People complaining of Tom's "recycling" of his old material are, I believe, sort of misguided. Yeah, he does use similar
stuff to his old albums, but he's an individual musician
with his own sound and style and whatnot. He also does a lot
 of new and original shit.

His bass work, if you haven't really noticed, is absolutely
phenomenal and he's really a beast on his instrument, and
probably deserves more credit for that than he gets.

 | I've given a few tracks a test drive, and I like what I hear, but I'm not overly impressed. Everything else he's
done, other than DYKS, knocked me out upon first listen...
but then again, I'm a different person now, leaner and
meaner. I expect it will grow on me. New Iambic isn't as
good as old Iambic. Kind of like Nannou.

 | Iambic 9 Poetry is amazing. The way it builds and builds to that orgasmic climax with a simple beautiful riff and
 increadible drumming is wicked.

 depending on your tastes

 but

it is to be respected for what it is IMO :

one of the best blending of acoustic and electronic sounds
 and production techniques
and he kills me with the way he restrain many elements
 (volume/bass/fullnes/...)
on some songs it's amazing the space given to let the mind
wander altho the song is a neckbreaking breakbeat anthem
