Mystery of the Melodies From Mars
Bill Myers

A Madcap Mystery With a Message About Appearances

Has Doc really contacted aliens from outer space?
Why are the stores in Midvale being broken into, but nothing
stolen?
Is Jeremiah serious about his bright blue mohawk hairdo?

The ultra-cool rock band, Spice Army, is in town, and
Midvale has gone mad for their music! But it’s not just
about the music—Spalding is now sporting a punk-rock
haircut and a tongue ring. As if that’s not enough, the
boy genius is suspected of several break-ins at stores
around town. Meanwhile, Doc’s oscillating audio
spectroscope—her newest invention—is picking up signals
from…outer space? As Sean and Melissa race to solve their
craziest mystery yet, they learn a lesson that truly is out
of this world.

it's an early version of richard d. james album, it was
composed and distributed on hand dubbed cassettes by richard
in 1995.

he had written 'melodies from mars on the cassettes'

only 2 of the tracks actually made it on richard d james
album

listening to it now it is well suited to mindless computer
games.
fingerbib is on it but that is in another league entirely

Same goes for Speed Racer, Outside Kick Ass Violin Solo and
Ghost in the Shell, which were supposedly all made by RDJ,
but they aren't.

I had to tweak the mp3 files I got of MFM but now I have a
nice loud copy on CD. After listening to it for a while I
wondered if he had planed to do more work on the unreleased
tracks but didn't since it got leaked. I downloaded Napster
just so I could experience AB5 and so on. You do anything to
get the music you love even 56k downloading 320KB/s files
with no resume function and being automatically disconnected
every 2 hours. I wish I had just waited for a re release tho
as it's just a tease having such inspirational sounds in bad
rips.

i've seen
acid jazz and trip hop - aphex twin - outside kick ass
violin solo
next to
Acid Jazz and trip hop - squarepusher - drum and bass 2000
so it probably is

spikee oh my where have you been?

There is a remastered Melodies From Mars that is really
impressive quality. But whoever did the remaster used a
version of mfm that has cut off tracks and stuff..

Also there is a really good rip of AB5 out there.. it's
320kbps, but look out, there is a 320 out there that is just
the old files with a bitrate change..

My point is, is that there are really good copies of both in
circulation.

I've been busy redirecting what I do with my life, enjoying
my freedom and appreciating the great things we have access
to in this life. It's nice to see you but I like to read
what goes on here when I can even if I don't log in so I
follow what most are up to here. Still playing your CDs btw,
hope things are good for you.

I also hope that AB5 will be re-released when it's 10 years
old. I really do enjoy trancing out to that sinking into
deep thought.

mfm are not fakes, they are pure rdj, no chance they are
fakes unless you've heard some mislabled tracks,...,.

were fake.

You are fortunate to have been able to hear them.

Could you give us punters more detail on the extra tracks?

Like how many there are and what they sound like..
