In 1976, Riperton revealed to Flip Wilson, who was guest-hosting for Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, that she had undergone a mastectomy due to breast cancer. At the time of her diagnosis, Minnie found out that her cancer had already spread to the lymphatic system. In spite of such a grim prognosis, Minnie continued touring in 1977 and 1978, and became the National spokesperson for the American Cancer Society 78-79, but eventually the cancer would take its toll. By June 1979, Minnie was confined to bed and she entered Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California for the last time on July 9. On July 12, 1979, Riperton died peacefully in her husband's arms as they listened to a recording of a song Stevie Wonder had written for her.[citation needed] Her family inscribed the headstone on her grave with words of her most famous song 'Lovin you is easy cause you're beautiful.'[1]

Mind control experiments? This leads to a possible explanation for the reptilian race. Imagine the CIA puts a child in a chair in a dark room after giving him some LSD, or similar drug. Then some actors come out into the dim light. One actor claims to be Ronald Reagan, and he pretends to transform into a reptilian. Isn't it possible that at least a few children will believe they personally observed Ronald Reagan turning into a lizard?
If the CIA puts thousands of children through this program, they might find dozens of them that are fooled by the technique. They dispose of the children whose minds work too well to be fooled, and that leaves them with children who truly believe in the reptiles.
The only reason I know that I did not float in the air is because I know I cannot float in the air. But what if I had imagined something that is possible?
For example, what if I had imagined an earthquake? Since earthquakes actually do occur in the area I live, I would still believe that I had experienced an earthquake.
Therefore, if the CIA uses this technique to fool children into believing something that actually is possible, the kids will almost certainly believe it.
For example, it is entirely possible that Ronald Reagan would have sex with another man, or with a child. Therefore, if a child is drugged and put in front of actors who pretend Ronald Reagan is having sex with another man, that child might forever believe that he personally observed Reagan having sex with a man. The child will have no reason to disbelieve his own memories.

The dynastic catastrophe was compounded by other processes which historians have argued rendered the family’s downfall inexorable. Carolingian kingship required powerful members of the aristocracy (‘magnates’) to serve as a medium through which a king’s authority could be imposed on localities. These aristocrats in turn received honores, positions of power granted typically through land (a monastery, for example), political roles and other honorific titles. A successful kingship was thus one that carefully and effectively distributed honores. Paul Fouracre, Timothy Reuter and others have noted that early Carolingian success in warfare enabled them to continue giving rewards and ensure a loyal following. As such, when Carolingian expansion slowed down and eventually ceased in the ninth century, honores and fiscal lands became much more circumscribed and the scrap for the realm’s limited resources intensified accordingly. By the late 880s, the magnates were finally in a position whereby they had accumulated enough resources to challenge the Carolingian family’s dominance, which partially explains Odo’s accession in West Francia in 888. This theory helps explain political developments in the tenth century, in which the royal demesne contracted further and gave rise to the ‘Principalities’. Certainly, this model has not gone unchallenged. But it remains a powerful framework for the downfall of the Carolingians. For modern scholars, the conception of the growing power of the magnates has further diminished the impact of the Viking raids.
Other reasons have conventionally been put forth to explain the fragmentation of the Carolingian Empire. As mentioned, Lucien Musset maintained that the ninth-century invasions effected a rerunning of the fall of the Roman Empire. It is important to remember that the Vikings were not the only invaders making inroads into the Frankish realm at this time. Narrative sources attest to other external aggressors such as the Saracens, Moravians, and Avars (Hungarians). Others have
