i thought samplitude was more a multitrack program... hm.
it's really a pitty that Soundforge doesn't support vst...
otherwise it would be the ultimate wave editor. now it just

Mastering for anything other than a proper release is
pointless...just make sure your shit sounds decent through a
couple of sets of speakers.

sound quality is the basis of a good tune well actualty
music is but thats not the point
mastering is just part of the production process
wether the track is to go onto a cd or a mb

Don't go turning into a ponce on me now. Unless you have
proper studio monitors you aren't going to be able to master
properly anyway. Concentrate on trying to make better
tunes, not trying to improve the audio of average ones.

mastering is something worth learning even if it means
improving the sound quality of crap average or good tracks
making electronic music is mainly about manipulating sound
or at least idm
the artists i look to for insperation for want of a better
word such as >[] afx etc as well as the creativity is solid
quality sound
