Once i've got my song complete, it saves everything as
separate files... how do I compile them all into one track?
is it file -> save mixdown? cuz that won't work at all when
I tell it mp3 format.

ok yep, its save mixdown, and I had to save as a wav file
because wma and mp3 wont work... bullshit. At least I know I
can encode it to an mp3 later with different software

cool edit itself kicks major ass, I am not doubting that!
But still, I can't encode mp3 from within the program so
that is a drawback

what version are you using?
because CEP 2.0/Audition 1.0 should be able to do that...

but it isn't working!

I'm using Adobe Audition 1.0, which is almost the same as
CEP 2.0 (with a few minor improvements/adjustments (Adobe
has acquired syntrillium)). If I can find the install
executable you can download it off me on slsk if you want.

Mine is hacked and it works, can you not even enode it after
you have mixed it down to wave?

What tweeks have they made in audition that make it nicer
than CEP2?

They've removed the 'right-click = change wave selection'
functionality and replaced it with a crappy menu.

I can't get used to it. Does anyone know if I can turn it
off?

It features batch processing now. Normalising multiple files
in a row and stuff like that.

You can do that in Cep 2 any way.

Right click on the organiser window/ group normalise files.

It's really cool that.

: )

uhm...I'm not that sure. I've never really compared both
versions, seeing as I only use it to optimise MP3s and WAVs.
AA seems to be exactly the same as CEP2 as far as I can tell
then...
