lately, i've been overwhelmed with so much. I think I need
some help dealing with it all.

when things start to feel like too much, building to a point
of breaking, what do you do?

i've felt quite down lately, not depressed but just not
content with myself..

my life is slowly turning into a puddle of mud (no pun
intended)

but then i realize that i'm alive, and there's a lot of
beautiful things in the world (while playing music that
brings up good memories.. i remember a lot of things from
the past when listening to music)

and it gets me tru the day.

I play a videogame and kill lots of people, or listen to
happyish music. Or I just go to bed and think about how
horrible stuff is, let it fester, mope around, and ruin my
week. Usually the latter.

When i have a so called 'day off', i'm made to feel like i
should be doing things forr otherr people. it's neverr a
frree day to do as i will.

I just refuse to do things for other people. It's my day. 8
hours a day in a sterile office environment entitles me to
some time for video games and loungin' around. When you're
off, you're off. You need to either blow them off or make
damn sure you get your just rewards.

BAM

I used to get real bad... now I'm fine most of the time... I
just try and think positive, and if I feel down well I just
tough it out and things usually turn up... listen to some
happy music or something!

what do i do?

hang out with my friends, write music, listen to music,
drink sometimes, smoke pot sometimes, i never really let my
self get so stereotypically DOWN.... I just tough it out and
be with friends which always helps.

offline Anus_Presley on 2004-02-19 15:51 [#01080855]

Thinking positive is rreally the only way out as silly as it
sometimes sounds. Because things arre shite, and the sad
fact is you can't change them just make the best of them.
And everry so often we all lose the drrive to think positive
and be get down. Such is life.

yeah, i've heard this before. people say you start
appreciating life when you become a parent...it's probably
true, but i guess you must also have everything else settled
to be happy with your familly, and well this could be the
tricky part...

I work harder to take my mind of whatever is getting me
down. I usually do a lot more music, in particular learn new
programs/synths or make synth patches.

Go for a swim for a couple of hours too.
