Five years later, he released his first cassette of songs know only as ‘tracker demos’ and began to work his way through the blossoming Miami IDM scene, rubbing digital elbows with luminaries like Funkstorung, L’usine and Phoenecia. Eight years later, we find him tirelessly performing throughout the United States -- releasing a series of critically acclaimed recordings along the way. With his venerable homespun label, Nophi Recordings, Garcia has taken quite a foothold in IDM as he uses the label to showcase his own and others' talents. He also takes a role in organizing ezRPM, a weekly collective of electronic and experimental musicians and DJs with a large footprint on the thriving Orlando IDM map.
