I prefer the horizontal model...it makes driving easier and
more comfortable.

yeah, i'd want one outfitted so it looked exactly like the
one from the film - it's gotta have all those gizmos and
shit hanging off it, else it don't look right

I'd like one of these too:

One of these. Bentley Continental Touring Coupe. Looks a bit
"old man" in stylings, but the performance is far in excess
of your normal sports cars.

£110,000ish (and about half that again to get insurance for
me ;) if someone wants to get me one for my birthday.

Diazohexagon: Gloss Slate Grey.
Get me one with a black italian leather interior if you can,
thanks.

Chris: You've got that copy of Nuts with it in. Check the
stats. Incredible. If I could afford a car like that I'd
always go for performance over looks. Even a porsche 911
looks like it'd beat that Bentley in a race...

Another example of the "purple filter" that seems to inhabit
my computer. I reckon part of the reason may be I always
think it's the purple anti-glare coating on my monitor
tinting things.

Also, the Bentley is attractive for its reliability, built
like a tank and they never break down. Italian sports cars
don't look so attractive when they break down in remote
regions (the only areas you could test their top speed)...

And I'd whip by at well over 30mph faster than you :P

Question for everybody: If you had a job that involved a lot
of travelling and you were always staying in hotels etc.
anyway. Would you consider selling your house (asuming the
mortage was paid off) to buy a car like the ones in this
thread?

BUT how often would you get to rrace it?

anti glare coating shouldn't tint the display -
manufacturers are supposed to QC them to make sure they
don't do that

Believe me, me and Chris racing is a regular occurance ;)

Oscillik: It's very subtle... only really noticeable when
the monitor is off and/or there's a lot of glare from
sunlight.

yeah you can usually see it when it's off, or if there's
shitloads of glare, but just for general stuff it shouldn't
really affect the colour

i got a mad program for my mac the other day called
gammarain and it changes the displays gamma hues so it goes
through different colours - looks mad when you put it in
techno mode heh

Yeah, my mate used to set his so it looked like he was
viewing the screen through a sheet of that yellow gel stuff
you put on disco lights. I think he found it easier on his
eyes when working at really high res for techincal drawing.
