i just saw "down by law" and i loved it...how could i not
with all that cool people in it; tom waits, reberto benigni,
john lurie. there's plenty of funny dialogue (as always) and
it was filmed in black&white, which just makes it seem more
realistic...i love those shots of orleans, like time got
stuck 100 years ago...

i wish his films would be easier to get a hold of tho...i
found this dvd by coincidence yesterday :)
so far i saw:
-stranger than paradise
-down by law
-mystery train
-night on earth
-dead man
-year of the horse
-ghost dog:the way of the samurai
-episode for "ten minutes older:the trumpet"

i want to see coffe and cigarettes now, especially the
newest one.

as for mp3's?

i have all of the above either on divx, tape or dvd...so now
i have only those coffe and cegarettes yet to get. i'll try
slsk.

I saw this film "Blue In The Face" which is a sequel to
"Smoke", Jim Jarmush plays a bit part as a character who's
trying to quit smoking. Pretty funny scene in the movie..

As an aside, I'm really liking Tom's shoes in that pic.

what would you say his best films are? I want to get some of
his films on dvd after watching Coffee and Cigarettes. I've
seen Dead Man but that was a LONG time ago...

depends on what you like i guess..if you want something more
like coffe and cigarettes see stranger than paradise and
down by law, and if you want something in colours see
mystery train and night on earth :)
for some action get the way of the samurai.
