Clean and sweet with a hint of... vanilla? Polish vodka distilled from rye grain. Very nice!
Oh yeah, and I'm listening to Thomas Koner - Zyklop, disk 1.

Yay, some vodka fans! I'll try some of these other brands if I see them... it'll be a while before I get through this bottle.

I think this stuff is turning me into an alcoholic. It tastes so damned good I crave it, and the buzz is so subtle it's like getting a blowjob while eating icecream. I think I could drink a whole bunch of this stuff without getting "drunk" as we are conventionally familiar with it - like sloppy and dumb and shit.

samples
Not what I'm in the mood for these days - it's very ambient / atmospheric, lots of great textures and samples and mental images they conjure - but I'm more into "notey" music at the moment.

I could make a new poll:
"which is your fav brand of Vodka?"
1) Wyborowa (Poland) 2) Absolut (Sweden) 3) Moskowskaya (Russia) 4) Keglevich (Russia) 5) Other brands

Hm, tried the Belvedere but it's twice the price of Wyborowa and certainly not twice as good - maybe smoother but it's too sweet. Wyborowa has a subtler sweetness and a more complex flavor. Nice bottle though! Just my 0.02

As a matter of fact, I like Belvedere so little that I am drinking it in screwdrivers as though it were merely Smirnoff or STolichnaya or Absolut. Very unpleasant aftertaste - this comes out even worse on the second straight shot. Bleah. Makes me shudder and shiver.

I like Smirnoff. The triple distilled stuff (new to me) is quite nice. And I just picked up a bottle of Stolichnaya the other day. I was so close to getting the Polish stuff though. Maybe I'll check it out next time.

Oddly I find the Wyborowa in the 750ml bottles tastes better than the stuff in the larger bottles. It seems sweeter, richer and mellower.

NO
The robots who fill the big bottles just don't wash their hands as often as the small bottle robots. That's why.
