If you could take two organisms and merge them, taking a
positive quality in one of them and putting it in another
thing, what would you do?

For example: an apple with the gene to produce opium (taken
from the opium poppy).

well - there isnt exactly a particular gene which just
allows you to fly - its a combination of bone structures,
muscles, and feathers - you would be far from human after
that experiment...

wow... this thread died fast.

another good example is a tomato which had the
cold-resistance gene taken from flounders put into them so
that they do not freezer burn as easily.
