Can't stop listening to Endless Summer these days - what should I get next? Doesn't matter if it doesn't have the same vibe as long as it has depth.

Oh jesus too many replies, head exploding, this thread was to help me narrow it down!
:: head explodes ::
I notice no one's recommended "plays".
Soooooooo the consensus seems to be Hotel Paral.lel... I haven't heard any Fenno'berg, will look into it.
I'm terrified to get into O'Rourke - doesn't he shit out a new record every other month?

i'd definitely recommend the Return of Fenn'O'Berg... but you could always just wait till march for his brand new solo album Venice, which i'm sure will be the finest of his career to date.... if you're looking for some really interesting improv stuff check out Fennesz with Kurzmann Daffeldecker (the three are joined by Kevin Drumm, Jim O'Rourke, and Martin Siewert on different tracks)...

I've heard good things about Fennesz live - supposed to be a riveting show. I mean, considering it's a guy with a laptop and not KISS with flaming tongues and shit.
New album sounds interesting - love the title Venice -

he has a live in japan set that's been pretty well received this year... and i believe there was also a set from him live in melbourne... i've actually never heard him solo live... only with other improvisers... he's pretty heavily involved in the improv scene... oh yeah: he has a guitar plugged into his laptop (the guitar is pretty much his primary music-making tool) so i suppose he could rock out and then run back to his computer and twiddle, and then rock out some more...

Endless Summer is my favourite from him by far, but Hotel Paral.lel is his most solid and consistent album. It's a little more glitch/noise oriented, but without being "noisy".
Field Recordings has some good moments and some bad moments. Codeine, Betrieb and Odessa are three of his absolute best tracks ever.

Both Endless Summer and Hotel Paral.el are wonderful, i recommend them to evrybody on this messageboard ! The return of Fenn'O Berg (with O'rourke and Pita) is also awesome.
I think Venice will be one of the best electronic records of the year with Ultravisitor and the new BOC (well i hope so... =Þ)
