whoever they use they should change. its a bit rubbish
really. i'm on my 3rd copy and all 3 have done the same

You can "fix" unwanted lock grooves/skips with a scalpel (or
less serious ones just with the edge of your fingernail),
you'll hear a click at that point, but it won't loop
anymore.
