only very slowly. what i find hardest is bars 17-21, with the different timings in left and right hands. also i had to adapt some of it because my hands just wont stretch almost 2 octaves! i read aphex used a disklavier to play the piano pieces on drukqs, thats why he can do impossible things with them.

can you explain the differences in a disklavier and a regular piano? I would be very interested in that as I figured there was heavy sequencing behind the piano tracks, but if richard really plays them, then that is pretty cool. :)

disklavier is basically a grand piano where the keys are actually pressed by a computer, unlike most sequenced piano tracks where its just a computer playing it. he used a disklavier rather than some computer so that he could do "a john cage", prepared piano. where you stick things in between the strings of the piano to get different sounds. he cant play piano, or read sheet music. makes it even more amazing that he could write those songs.
