peel2 i only have no's 5,7,8,9 though, but have listened to ep7, but didnt like it anywho i might have chosen envane but it hurts my ears to much, the again i might have chosen those others too, peel2 is just so slick, in a good way, nice production, aahhh |

i have to agree with you, that harsh sound on Envane is its real drawback... but apart from that, it's a beautiful EP. |

cichlisuite hands down! and of course ep7 is an ep, but it wouldnt be fair to compare it with their other eps, for obvious reasons, imo. |

morton: thanks for your help ;-) nacmat: thanks for your words... you understand me everytime :) komakino: ok, you're tha man ep7: agree with nacmat, in italy there's few price difference between ep7 and lp5 or confield. i consider ep7 an album, 'cos it has more the 60 minutes of music, same for lp5, tri repetae, amber, etc... gantz graf, peel session, anti, etc... (3,4 tracks) can't be compared to ep7 imo. so for a more balanced poll i prefer to put ep7 in the albums poll and not in the shorter ep poll. i hope everybody understood my decision. have a nice vote to everybody :) |

Grantz graf is my choice. It's fucking amazing I had a dream this dj was spinning it and everybody was soo terrified of the track they started to leave the club, at the end of the track I was walking in time with the song it was excellent! |

like a lot of people, i'm really torn... my gut tells me to go with Anvil Vapre, but my left ventricle tells me to go with Cichlisuite... my left hand tells me to go with Peel Session 2... and then there's my spleen, mumbling something about Ja Rule... from now on i will disregard my spleen on all accounts... and go with Anvil Vapre |

EP7 might be album length, but it's still an EP. Thematically, it sounds like an extension of LP5 ideas. The sleeve design is just a variation on LP5. Hell, even the name relates to it. It is not really a step on from LP5, just a variation of it. It is to LP5 as Garbage is to Amber, in sound. It's a stepping stone between LP5 and Confield. Just listen to the tracks. It doesn't sound like the next album. The fact that they call it an EP just highlights the fact. The only reason people call EP7 an album is because of the length, because a conventionl album is that long. But since when were Autechre conventional? |
