Hi friends. I just got a midi keyboard. I have it connected via usb and tried playing something in cubase. The latency was very bad, like 50ms or so I would guess. Has anyone had this before? Can you change the latency in the asio config or something? Any help will be rewarded with a free horse. Thanks |

you can change it easy. Go to your midi settings and try out other ones, use the latency test etc |

Go into VST Multitrack in the Device Setup and make sure you are not using the ASIO Multimedia drivers. |

Try lowering the buffers! smaller buffers = lower latency |

i always always find that keyboards loose the finesse that a piano would have... i think the keys need to be weighted or something. i can't play it like i do piano |

I love unweighted keys, I can really fly on them... soloing is so easy on them compared to pianos/weighted keys. |
