New Oddioblender
or
New Cowboy Sugarcakes

The Sugarcakes is chill, the Oddioblender is frantic. It's
my dual personality - whatever suits you.

Drunk monkey wasnt my thing to be honest, the piano innit
was great tho.

I Liked Tingly Feeling, would suit a drunken or drugged
scene in a movie

Again chinese food sounds like sumthin from a movie

D/ling New oddioblender just now

i really like Breeze a lot. nice and calm, great guitars,
gotta love those backward guitar sounds. a good subtle
rhythm too. your music seems to dwell on subtlety, i think
its easily one of your greater strengths. i don't have too
much of your music, but what i do have and heard is highly
enjoyable.

yeah i much prefer your Oddioblender stuff digitonal rmx is
perfect length.

Warmth is fondest memory is class! Superb programming, one
of my favs of yours, the only thing is when main beat at
1:10 comes in it sounds a bit like Laughable Butane Bob
beat, but grreat anyway

thank you sir! i am downloading more of yours as we speak.

as for the sugarcakes stuff, it always seems that people
either love or hate it - it's stuff that very out-there, in
some respects.

did you actually play the guitar?

offline Oddioblender from Fort Worth, TX (United States) on 2004-02-09 19:14 [#01066233]

i like the chopped-up guitars in phlik, as well as the
atmosphere of the track. lots of good layering, but the 4/4
kicks at the beginning keep everything in order. good stuff.

Yeah, i play lead guitar. heres an electric guitar track for
ya, kinda Rage Against Machine meets disco. Nothing
electronic about it apart from the drum machine

ffiR (Riff backwards)

Yeah well a failed attempt at tapping anyway.

Heres another guitar track, using 3 guitar tracks with ebows
and my drum machine

Thats a cool track too it reminds me of people marching off
into battle with the sky all red and orange (until the end
when it slows down)
I also like how you glitch the guitar noise right before the
bridge

offline rudster from the glasgow on 2004-02-09 19:46 [#01066275]
Points: 3169 Status: Lurker

Thanks man, yeah it reminds me of a battle scene too, the
glitch was unintentional tho, but it sounds pretty good tho

Breeze is great... very pretty with tasteful drums. I
thought it would get all drilly but it didn't. I dug Phlik
too. The glitchy guitar is sweet... reminds me of cornelius.
I think it could use more in the way of drums. No snare
hits! My mind kept filling in snare hits.

ya! Breeze was great, man!

Fractise sounds like something you should send to bjørk and
have her sing on!

Phlik made me happy!

Get sent was not as good as the others, but good nontheless.
