nice as well iam sure, I can remember bits.... anyone like
these? Heh...nerdy.

this avatar is nerdy. but this is a messageboard, so i don't

In 5th grade, my class watched The Voyage Home to
demonstrate whale communication. I'm not sure how effective
that was... but it is a great movie. I think that The
Final Frontier
is my favourite, though.

They keep quietly churning out some decent product, though
the older ones were better, and the '60s show was the cream
of the crop. The action scenes have always been clumsy and
awkward, but these movies have some intangible. I so want to
hang out in a Holodeck.

I never liked the Deep Space Nine/Voyager series', they lack
charisma. I love the original and like TNG. Never saw the
new one with Scott Bakula though.

Nope.... I dont like the newer stuff, anything after TNG was
bunk! TNG is wicked.. haha..... i used to watch it when it
first came out, and I loved it then, its a good show, lots
of story to it.

TNG is the best of all the Star Trek films/episodes IMO.

I liked some of the later episodes. I liked the one where
Lore turned Data on the crew of the Enterprise. Data is
probably my favourite character.

I don't think I've ever seen the first one, and I wasn't
amazingly fond of the TV series, but I like the rest of
them. Khan is a bit overrated I think. 3 is plain daft and 4
was a bit cynically commercial, 5 is... well, nothing needs
to be said about that and 6 is good but a bit bland - but
they're all good nerdy fun, Shatner and some high quality
dope go together like cheese and pineapple, he's fucking
hilarious. Generations is alright, get rid of Data and his
fucking chip and it'd be even better. I've only seen First
Contact of the TNG movies, that was quite good.

I used to be a big fan of the next generation, and would
watch it religiously. Then the series ended and I decided
to move on. The only star trek movie I liked was The voyage
home. It was great seeing them in San Francisco in the 80s.

A friend of mine and myself were talking and thought it
would be neat if there were sequels to sequels, like Star
Trek 4-2 where they would have to go back to the eighties
again to find more whales or maybe something else.

We also thought it would be cool to have actors and
actresses crossover roles they do in different movies/shows
in a Charlie Kaufmann / Kurt Voneguet (sp?) sort of way.
Here is an example:

Catherine Hicks is the mom on the show 7th Heaven and she
also was in Star Trek 4. Catherine Hicks is having a very
emotional moment with her family in the living room. Lucy
is having issues because she is dating someone but her old
boyfriend just got back in town whom she still likes, Simon
just got fired from a job and is feeling depressed and the
Matt picked up the wrong dog from the dog pound. Catherine
Hicks is carefully trying to resolve each of this issues
while everyone is talking at once in a quite exasperated way
when all of a sudden there is a *boom* outside. They all
run to the window to see the USS Enterprise in their front
yard. Admiral Kirk needs her help once again to find the
whales!!
