Hey guys, I'm getting broadband on thursday, and I'm proper chuffed ;) I wanna be able to get on soulseek with my iBook, I'm running Mac OS X 10.3.2 Anyone using soulseek on OS X? Anyone got any tips on where to get hold of slsk for Mac? |

.. there is a way .. i know a guy who runs it, but you need to d/l a linux python etc. um .. there's links on the slsk.org faq page ... |

there is more than 2 ways to actually do this, it seems quite complicated from what i have read, but if you search enough you can find detailed walkthroughs on installing it for OSX and you can do it no problem with the aid of those. |

yeah, i've had a look for slsk for mac, and it looks like a pain in the arse to sort out :( I'll try it, but it looks like I might have to run it under Windows Me in Virtual PC I just don't understand why there hasn't been a nativly coded application for OS X yet...it's been going since 2000....I hope that one comes along soon thanks for all your help guys :) muchly appreciated |

You need to use pyslsk, get a python compiler for mac and bob is very much your uncle. |
