i had this project in film class to show the pros of drugs,
while my partner was showing the cons. now this was all easy
for me, seeing as my camcorder has over 3 hours of me and my
buddies partying. clip this, crop that, and add in some
BOC.
its a little over ten megs, and really worth seeing, im in
dire need of feedback.
i can send it through messenger for those who would like to
see it.
ps - pleeeaaaaase

edit the file in notepad, print the text, fax it, then
reflex could type it into a file with the same filename, and
HEY PRESTO! You've got it!

hmm..
i don't know if it really shows the "pros" of drugs. it
definitely shows people having fun smoking pot in the woods.
or smoking pot in an apartment and goofing around. I
suppose it could show that it just harmless fun, a bunch of
stoners just having a good time.

i like the choice of music, and some of the photography, of
the sun through the trees and the snow on the streetlights.
i think some of the infrared stuff was cool looking too.

some of those dudes look really young too. like that guy
that the vid opens on looks like hes about 14. that might
actually be looked at as a "CON" rather than a "PRO" by some
people.

but yo. it is interesting to see how other people have their
own version of the pot culture.

like, i hardly ever smoke joints. i almost exclusively use
a glass pipe. and when i smoke with my friends, it almost
always includes playing poker or playing music.

were well rasta style though.

I used to play a lot of Magic stoned. like maybe 8 years
ago. i stopped playing right around "alliances"

Not being into BOC (yet) and not having any other feelings
about this music than that it's warm, mellow, tragic, but
most of all beautiful.
The music makes the video feel a bit melancholic (and it
starts out in the cold weather, with a person who seems very
alone) and not so "happy" as one might think one feels when
high. Instead the video has this chill/mellow feeling, in a
way it feels like someone is looking back at his past - good
times.

I think it's an interesting view of the pros of drugs, it's
not all crazy partying at some random party, but rather
chilling together with close friends.

What I like most was the part between 6:13 and 6:26 - the
images faded very nicely into eachother...
Overall it was a good video I must say. I feel the music
adds more depth to the pictures (which seems very personal);
it makes them feel melancholic (and beautiful). Good times,
indeed, and portrayed in an interesting way.

this BOC track has become a big part of my listening the
past hours... wow.
I've heard it before, but after seeing your video a couple
of times it just stuck!
The begining, to about 01:30 into the track is my favourite
part!
It just feels so no-more-worries-beatuiful-times-are-ahead.
I really like it.
