Ok. I'm playing my collection of remixes by Autechre.
Shouldn't there be a collection of their best remixes? My
Winamp says six hours of remixes. That would be one helluva
box.

Gescom-Viral Rival (Ae-rmx) from Gescom-This; is there an
original version of this?

I hope you've included the team doyobi remix ;) Absolute
Quality isn't it?
Love that EP, but the Ae track is one of their better
remixes.

There would of course also be another version with ten
silver-vinyls which also contained a bonus-7" hand made by
ass-skin from Sean and Rob. Limited to 50 copies and sold
for £50.000 on ebay the next day

26 mixes for cash was quite underwhelming in my opinion.
from the packaging to the tracklisting to the queer title.
id like to think ae would resist the tempation to do
something similar. not that i dont like aphex twin, or even
a percentage of those mixes...but a person can only act like
a fucknose b4 people start regarding him as one.

i think he only made it seem like that because he was trying
to make it interesting. its just a collection. the album
doesnt flow whatsoever. its not supposed to. and to make
things interesting, he decided to call it the one thing that
remixes are basically regarded for, is making more money. so
he thought he'd play with it cause he knows you want it, and
your going to get 26 whether you like it or not, even if you
do feel cheated.

ae need to NOT do something like this. i have heard some of
theyre remixes and i think they take the cake for lameness.

Why is it that everyone is always talking about viral rival?
i thought "Viral" was 1000000X's better. it has more sense
of that great melody.

i think aes remixes on the whole are better. which is
astounding considering theres like 93487592834 of them. how
many discs would '93487592834 for cash' be? afx could
sequence a fart into a 45min track (cough*smojphace*cough)
and some would regard it as genius. actually....thats
almost a good idea.

26 mixes for cash mustve been warprecords' idea.

it was either 26 mixes for cash on warp or some big record
label releasing it otherwise.
apparently.
