i just got back from the Perth "Big Day Out" show, started off at 6:30PM with funky breaks (very similar to Pukkelpop2002 set) which went for about 30 mins finally evolving into a wish wash of slick sounds.....just when i began to think what could be next rich brings out the big slut "windowlicker" and the whole crowd let out a huge cheering roar, with vibert by his side attacking with classic signature acid skips this battle which went for close to 7 mins finally crumbling into an array of hi-frequency/noise madness....then all of a sudden hell broke lose and the room opened up to an array of jungle drum&bass, drill and acid techno madness, for 30 mins this went on until finally developing into a mix of gabba and terrorcore for the last 15 ending at 8:00PM.....fantastic night |

i sent Xanatos an email of all the pictures i took, so make sure to check the gallery for them soon.......i also did an MD recording which is not very good considering i was right next to the speaker, so it's kind of flooded with bass......dose anyone know of a good sound program so i can take the large quantities of bass out? i wana have this baby up on slsk as soon as possible |

I'm afraid the bass is horrible. There's distortion, too. It sucks cause if you lower the bass it will alter the sound from the original. Is there someone with another recording? I REALLY want to hear that windowlicker remix.... |

waiting for some dude from adelaide bdo to mail me photos he took... was right up the front, awesome fucking show... went way too short though. first afx song i heard was flex, which was about a hour and a bit into the show, then some stuff from druqks. things were really fucking awesome the last 20 minutes or so. regret not going to melb/syd seperate shows :-( |
