when you have this whole 6.1 or 5.1 speaker system, but you put a simple stereo cd into the dvd, do all speakers play or just two ?? |

depends how many speakers you have there are some audio 5.1 cds and with dvds you can set up either 2.0 or 5.1 within the menu usually |

i asked at a shop today and he told me that stereo cd's are played stereo, so only two front speakers work and the subwoofer, 3 aren't used... that's right ?? |

Depends...some systems will upmix a stereo signal to play through all speakers. My Sony one does. |
