just read your review mate... Nice one.

i wasn't there anyway as i've been poor the past year. i is
back now and currently listening to Sepix's mixes -
review-thread to follow. VSnares at Blitz sounds as crazy as
his ATP03 show.
Was Ceephax there too?

it was nice, shame such things don't happen more often. i
think ceephax was scheduled at first but they cancelled him
later on, as well as some other...im pretty sure it was cuz
of lack of interest - not enough tickets sold on pre-sale
and such, not surprising tho as the whole thing was a mess
regarding organization.

it was my only time seeing vsnares, so i was quite
impressed, it wasn't the best act but certanly the most
exhausting one :)
i loved what lory d played this time, one of best live
performances i have ever seen, and the music was excellent,
i certanly hope he will release some of it in the future. i
was a bit surprised to hear that most italians came there
mostly cuz of lory, cuz i heard him play before and it was
alright but not near as great as this time...he's definitely
one of the people i'll look forward to see again.

and i loved richard devine's act - he played several (mostly
harsh ones) tunes from asect:dsect and other simmilar stuff,
i loved it cuz i never heard anything just like that
before...i only new "lipswitch" before and it wasn't really
my thing, but the stuff he played here was excellent, and
well asect dsect is one of my top 5 albums last year.

do you know if there are any similar festivals planned for
this year already?

i fucking love asect:dsect and lipswitch...... theres loads
of room for vocal sample and synths chords when mixing em

the only things i got planned gigwise is SP at Royal
Festival hall in march and "DJ Scud" this wednesday!

hmm, yes, squarepusher...when is he doing some european
gigs???

it's a really sad electronica scene we have here in
europe...the promotors always need to bring some big name
otherwise there isn't any interest at all. not sure if even
afx or pusher are enough these days. it looks to me like
sonar is doing the right thing to some extend - they always
schedule the most popular dj's in techno scene and they seem
to attract the majority of people to get money to pay other
less popular ones and to give this festival a less
mainstream feel to it. it's really sad, and i was shocked to
see so few people at bitz last year...there were like 30
people at the end of venetian snares!?!?
looks like i'll have to visit uk more often :)
