yes, i just got this album and i like it a lot :)
it's chaotic already, but he keeps this madness together
very well imo,
it's way better than other stuff i heard by him

anyone else got/likes it?

i like this one best out of stuff i've heard from him. and
it's an excellent album, it's cool cuz there are all kinds
of tunes on it, downtempo, uptempo...
and i'd love to see him live some time soon...

kid606 = good live

he has crazy staring eyes + is seemingly capable of watching
2laptops at once.
the most amusing thing was watching people actually trying
to dance to some of the most intense stuff

"the most amusing thing was watching people actually trying

to dance to some of the most intense stuff "

hmm, you mean, you don't do this??

btw, have you seen vsnares live yet?

saw him dublin last summer. he played with DJ rupture who
was 50 times better than him, although he is top banana
also. when they weren't doing their thang they were beside
the bar selling records - friendly fuckers!

he was playing i my hometown with the whole tigerbeats crew,
even rapture and people told me they were playing like a
duel after they finished their regular sessions.
the thing was bitz festival was the same weekend so
naturally i missed them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i love the melodies... its hard to get into really hard
complex distorted beats the 606 uses.

but thats just me, i know you guys love that shit.

no, seriously - i mean there were no more beats to dance to.
literally white noise.
dont get me wrong, i love dancing - but this had no rhythmic
tructure whatsoever. it was a buildup of distortion + fx
while the kid waved at revelers + had a swig of beer.
if it had been possible to discern a rhythm, its not humanly
possible to dance that fast.

not seen snares, no.

i know what you mean, there's always someone who goes mental
to white noise tho heh, actually i was very tempted to do
some jumping on white noise at haswell's gig...but i changed
my mind for some reason. i could (honestly) feel the rhythm
tho :)

i asked about vsnares just because i thought you meant the
other kid 606 extreme - fast broken beats

sometimes there are rhythms in seemingly non-rhythmic
breakdowns (particularly if youre really into the music),
but these guys werent even jumping in excitement. they were
swaying & swinging their hips (+ clicking fingers too!)
best thing was, they had no natural rhythm even when there
was an obvious beat. they spent the whole evening banging
into other poeple.
