I see everyone talking about 'vibes' and its various
versions.

Can someone fill me in?

It was a very old idea that myself and the owner of the site
and someone else (cannot recall) was going to do. Now its
pretty much in whoever's hands wants to organize it all.

Its a compilation of music artists on this messageboard.
Some of the VIBES have a running theme, while others do not.
Its a pretty cool little idea.

so users submit tracks based on the theme and a set of

yes, the person who is putting the whole thing on at the
time/version will decide which tracks to lay down and which
to not keep. also some people made it so the people could
vote I think, but usually its just decided by the person who
is organizing it for that time.

and yes users submit their own track that the select and
hope it gets thrown on, basicly its just a neat way for
everyone to listen in on great amatuer artists from this Mb.
lots of talent here.

Do we have the download statistics for each 'vibe'. I'd like
to know which one are the favorites... because quality
really differs from one mix to the other.

maybe it's obvious, but since it hasn't been mentioned, i'll
point out that the various vibes are archived and available
for streaming/download at the bottom of the xltronic main
page, along with some other stuff.
